This story sort of occurred to me when I was just sitting in the car listening to my iPod. Title will possibly change if I think of something else.

Prologue:
His hands were icy against her gentle touch along his long artistic pale fingers, marked of his beaming beauty and divinity. He was too perfect for any human in the world to measure to, the woman's eyes tearing with the incredible loss of her best friend's death. He was not a human at all per say, but at one point in life he had been. The woman, dear widow of the young handsome fellow before her, Luna, saw this man as her angel. The gorgeous thing of it all was, she spoke truth. He was an angel. Her angel from heaven. However, her angel's wings were gone forever, and she knew before long, his body would fade to The World of Nothing. That realm was a place of pure sorrow for angels where they would be locked in darkness and before long, their grace and saintly form would be swallowed in the shadows forever and forgotten in heaven. This fate was not for all angel's however, for to save themselves from the tainting evil, they must for fill a task. A task that would fill their entire bodies with light, turning them into an Arch. And Arch Angel to be more precise. If they do not succeed, darkness was their fate. Most of the angels murdered this day, on March 15, 2009, had not but decade living on this earth. All because of humans. Disgusting, greedy, selfish, and vile homo sapiens. Luna was a human, and she knew every insult she spoke of was not lies, even in her short ages on this star. She had seen and watched as the entire race of angel's, the people whom helped her people since before time even began, had now been extinguished by the very things that they had sheltered from all impure evil. This celebration had transformed into the massacre of these blessed peoples, and her husband was a victim of her tyrant species. "I'm sorry..." Luna cooed, gathering the cold hand within hers again and clutched it along her peach face. She felt the metal gold band on his left hand brisk against her cheek, and like her life was flashing before her, memories buzzed within her head but each was with him. This amazing man who had come this far in life, only for dead to take all that away. No, not death. Humans.

"Mrs. Sarosh! Mrs. Sarosh! We have to get out of here!" A voice bellowed behind her. It was a surviving angel, Lei Berko, a good friend of her husband and co-worker in AHPA, or the Angel-Human Protection Agency. The AHPA was like a second generation police force for angels and humans to coexist and work with one another. The original Police Force despised the angels, so a treaty for the two to work in harmony was never established. So, the Arch Angel's created a place for those who wanted to cooperate with the angels to retain peace. When the place was founded, it hadn't been very popular before the civilians realized that humans couldn't solve all problems alone. Sure took them long enough. Still, the police continued by themselves and tried to show that they could defeat criminals without the angels. So, the battle began there. And that's the whole reason it began. Anton Peck, CEO of the Police Force of Detroit, began this man-slaughter. Permission from the pious United States President after a false accusation that the Arch Angels were reaching a verdict to take over the country from within, starting with the President Bryan Egdan. The Arch Angels were assassinated on the spot after the order and before the world knew it, the entire human race was in chaos to kill people just as innocent as they used to be before... before all this. "I'm not leaving without Michael." Luna said with a low, firm tone. Her eyes were glazed over from the tears wanting to fall, but her rage was keeping them from falling, as well as what pride she had left. She needed to be strong for Michael, and for their unborn child. "I'm sorry Mrs. Sarosh, but I can only carry you! If I was to carry you both, there'd be a bad chance of getting out unscathed." The black angel remarked quickly. "Michael would want you to get out in prime condition." A comforting hand from a friend can be a good mind-changer, as well as their words. Luna was silent, only gazing at her lost Michael. "I love you, my angel." Luna leaned forward and pressed her thin lips against his own. Her right hand intertwined with his right, and soon she began to remove his wedding ring and soon withheld it in her hand, before arising from the ground and taking dear Lei's hand. "Let's go. I don't want to be here any longer." She mumbled, sniffles and hiccups from her tears giving way along her face. Lei clasped sad Mrs. Sarosh into his arms, rubbing her back firmly to ease her aching heart, which seemed to bleed onto Lei as she was against his body. "All right." Soon, both of them floated and hovered from the ground, before bolting toward the halls out for an exit of this murder building.

Chapter One: Escape They needed to get out now, but with each door or window they seemed to pass, a metal sheet was across it, allowing no angel to escape. It was a fortress, a fortress of blood and murder. Each hall they passed seemed to be flooded with men and women of every kind, human and angel. The carpet was dyed with the blood split so mercilessly by the devil in disguise, Anton Peck. "How could the President give on order like this?" Luna questioned rhetorically. "Not only that, what evidence did they go off of to get the authorization?" Lei included, his eyes staring right forward like a warrior heading into battle, while clinging to his dear friend's love. "But never mind that, we should question where we can find a door to get out of!" He yelled as they flew toward a corner. Suddenly, a pack of officers peeked from the coming-up edge. Lei's eyes expanded and in an instant titled his body, flying into a open room. The officers, out of the peripheral vision spun their bodies, but saw nothing. Because of the emotion of curiosity, they only made things worse for Lei and Luna to turn that corner to check out the situation. Silently, Lei and Luna were pressed against the wall, holding their breath, just waiting for the moment to be over. Luna moaned as a heavy thrust kick hit against her stomach, as the life inside her was almost calling to come out. If it was, they were two week early, and right now was not the most amazing time to be be born. Lei could most defiantly tell that at this point now, they were in serious trouble if Luna was to have her children. He needed to get her out, not matter what. He looked at his ALA-87 Handgun perched along his waist. He could take them all out with it, but... in truth he wasn't particularly sure. If these men had indeed taken out this many angel with whatever fire power they had, and the ALA-87 being a very popular weapon with the angel community, he was sure they were prepared with the fire power. However, the only thing he knew that he could do was try to fight back. It was the only way to escape without things getting to complicated or too hard for either himself and the possible-in-labor Luna. Also, if he was to die in this assault, what was Luna going to do. She couldn't stay here, because the orders to the men where to kill all in the building, and he knew that even if she was pregnant, they wouldn't hold back from anything. If she were to run, she'd be taken out the moment they would spot her. So, he would need to stay alive. This situation had gone to the worst. "Luna. Stay here. I'll try to take them out as quick as possible. I promise I'll get you out..." He paused with a sigh. "Somehow..." Luna gave a laboring heave, sweat tumbling against her peach face, clinging to her stomach as the pain grew immensely in the few moments they were their. "Y-You can d-do it Lei." She smiled and have a weak giggle, raising the other arm and giving a comforting pat. Lei nodded and returned the grin. Turning away, he muttered softly, "Stay hidden. I'll be right back."

He hoped he would be right back. He knew that Anton Peck was not stupid like people thought him as. Most looked down at him as a questionable leader with a reckless, blood-thirsty monstorous persona. However even if those were true, there was more to him then madness and inconclusiveness. He was devious, hard to read, and a damn good liar. Because whatever he told the President about the Angels, was pure bull shit. "Look in that room, I'll cover you from here." He heard one officer say through the communication link to probably the other that was hesitantly stepping toward the door. Lei took a deep breath as he gathered his courage to storm outnumbered and outgunned at a group of humans. As he was standing, weak Luna was sliding down against the and steadily toward the ground, her power diminishing. When her body hit the floor, she gave out a wailing cry as the pain became increasingly too much to succumb and hold inside her. "Open fire!!" One exploded as the officer in the front of the group backed away and soon their guns were aimed at the wall to their left. Luna gasped and her tears began to release, knowing that this was the possible end for her and Lei. Before each finger flipped to pull the trigger, Lei screamed and he burst from his hiding place and grabbed hold of his large 87 from the pouch. His grabbed first onto the trigger as he tossed himself closer at the leader, and before the human know what was happening, the gun blasted loudly into his head. The leader's blood squirted back out his skull, blown apart from the inside. The other men bellowed in horror from their mistake, their bodies trying to as quickly as possible kil this angel, before their lives were on death's platter.

Lei slid his body like an acrobat as he prepared himself for an assault from the bullets. He was going to let them shoot next, since if he shot again, he'd kill one, but the others would be given an easy chance to shoot him down. Taking a breath, he displayed one of his hands in an obscure way, gesturing it like a dance, but it made a particular shape as he constantly flourished his hand repetitively. A cross. It was a spell most angel's used when in a situation such as this, however it didn't last too long, so he had to think of a way to either kill these guys or get him and Luna out swiftly and safely. The shower of ammunition blasted loudly like a fog horn and Lei stood pinned where he was, knowing that his guard would save him. As the ammo cascaded toward his neon blue force, the bullets struck the shield. Lei gave a grin as he... A irking pain surged through his side and he body suddenly tensed from the power in this wound. The bullets weren't deflecting! They were going right through his shield! He gave a loud choke as another jabbed him in sternum and he flew back in an arch, his body quivering weakly at the fatal laceration now in two places. How? How had the humans penetrated their shields! "Too bad." It seemed that their courage had returned, and only because now they had the biggest upper-hand. Towering over the wounded and dying Lei, there guns aimed down the innocent man, who heaved and huffed as it was becoming ever so harder to get a good breath. I'm sorry Michael. I'm so sorry Luna... I wasn't able to protect you! Please forgive me...

Luna had peeked her head to watch the entire scene unfold. With her aching pain beginning to subside, as it wasn't her giving birth, but a lucky false alarm. However, it hadn't been easy... to get through the torment alone. Now, the two of them were in more trouble. Somehow, the Police Department had devised ammunition with guard-piercing rounds. How in the hell did people like them get support of an mission like that. It was likely that Anton had set up the entire operation in defeating the angel's only defense, but how? Had Anton been planning this assail that long? What and who could have sponsored such a weapon! Even if Anton was the CEO of the Detroit Police, she knew something like that was far from the budget her received. And now, her only friend was to be destroyed by that very dangerous weapon. She couldn't. She wouldn't stand for it for a moment. "NO! Stop!" She hurled her body for Lei and soon she was clinging to her like a child would a doll. However, even her screams were in vain when talking to men like this, and they only continued their almost slowed pull of the triggers. "Please... no! Luna get out of here!" "Its too late now! I've made my decision!" "But..." "NO! If my entire family is going to die, I'm going to go with them." She said powerfully, her eyes slanting. "I don't want my children to live alone. You know that they will hunt someone like me down until I'm dead. My children don't deserve it." She muttered. What Luna had meant, was that the President had issued the arrest of any supporter of the angel's survival after today, including women or men who were married to an angel. Meaning, if the official discovered and looked through the records of married couple in America, it was obvious that they wouldn't stop until Luna was dead for marrying an angel, as well as bearing children with him. I'm going Michael. I'm so sorry that I've failed you as a wife and mother, but I don't want our children to wander through this world. "For treason against the country and helping an angel." One paused before grinning madly. "You are sentenced to immediate termination. Fire at will!"

Its not your time my dear. A voice echoed into her head, causing a slight shock at this odd yet familiar voice. Suddenly, a blaze of white erupted from Luna and before either Lei or she realized, another form was standing before their eyes, but his form was hard to cut out of the overly exposing light. Both Lei and Luna gazed in awe as the man, or woman that blasted the dark men that became caved in by the light in an instant, disappearing and forming with the light as if their entire body had been sucked away into the illumination. As this figure stood, his face erected toward the both of them and Luna's heart stopped for a split moment at the man's gorgeous face and smile. "Michael..." Her voice shook from the overwhelming form that her love radiated. "Impossible!" Lei gasped weakly, but deep down he felt compelled to smile. Luna... Michael turned his entire body around toward the two, the light lessening and soon he was just a glowing apiration of Luna's love angel, who with his magnificence caused a ray of tears to tumble long across her face. It was incredible. The faith and holy feeling her lovely husband gave off was almost too much for her to handle. Luna my love. He spoke again. His bright hand extended to her clasped palm, which had been tightly closed for some time. Call for me... and I will be there. He smiled brightly, his soft blue eyes shimmered with greatness. Then, he turned to the gaping Lei, who was living off the last few heartbeats, his eyes fluttering from his failing body. My friend, its is not your time either. I must ask you to protect her. "I-I don't think I can Michael. I-" He began, but he stopped when in almost an instant, his breath returned and the pain disappeared. Gazing down to his body, it was no longer bloody or battered. Michael only chuckled as the other stared with just as much amazement as he had before, if not more. Now you can. Michael teased. "Michael... Please don't leave me again." She called his name, which was sweet on her tongue. The dear Luna whimpered, reaching for her divine man. I won't Luna. I will stay with you forever and protect you as well as I can. As he spoke, his body was slowly drawing back and drifting into the sky above, back to where he was and belonged. "Michael! Michael! MICHAEL! PLEASE COME BACK!" Luna outstretched for him, but he continued to drift off. I'm sorry my dear, but please. Protect them from harm. And soon, a bright light blinded to both of them like a flashlight and when the light dispperated, he was gone. Them? Luna asked herself. "What did he mean by them?"
