Landon stood up and pretended to dust himself off. Then he smiled charmingly and ran a hand through his hair and said, "Thank you, Thank you very much."
Molly just put her head in her hands and then shook her head. "Boys, will be boys," she said to herself.

"Ow," Came Jon's muffled voice from the floor.
Aryn giggled once more as she looked on at her friend. "Well, I think it's present time now. And since our dear friend is over there, I'll hand out gifts," She said slyly.
"Over my dead body," Jon cried, he scrambled off the ground and back to his spot. Glaring at Aryn, he grabbed a close by present. "Let's start with the ones from Landon," He said reading who it was from. Jon handed over all the presents that were from Jon to each of his friends.

Landon laughed and picked up the recliner and sat back down still smiling to himself. "It isn't much," he told them watching them all open their gifts. He had gotten a CD for Aryn, a video game for Jon, and a small porcelain doll for Molly. He tried to stick with things each of them liked.
Molly held the doll in her hands and smiled. She wore a pretty pink dress, with flowers in her hair. "Aww, Landon, she's beautiful. I love her, Thank you!"

Aryn opened her present carefully and gasped in awe. It was the CD she had been wanting for a long time, but was never able to actually go and get it. "Thanks Landon!"
Jon opened his in an explosion of wrapping paper to see the newest playstation action game. "Dude sweet! Thanks!" Hesitantly, he set the game aside looking at it in longing. "Ok next present is," He grabbed a present from behind him, "Mine! YAY!" He began tossing presents out like no body's business. He had decided on giving each of his friends something that he knew they'd like. For Molly he had given her some heart shaped earrings, for Aryn he had gotten her a charm bracelet with a music not already on it, and for Landon he had gotten him the newest and last book of his favorite series.
"Thanks Jon," Aryn said kindly as she began to put her bracelet on.
"Here let me help you," Jon said reaching over and putting the bracelet on gently.

Molly opened her present and smiled. She had specifically picked out her earrings. Taking them out of the box, she put them on imediately. She had specifically not worn earrings because she knew Jon was getting her those. "Thanks Jon," Molly said and then winked at him.
Landon smiled when he had the book. It was the hardback, which was why he hadn't gotten it for himself. He was going to wait until it was cheaper. "Thanks man," he said already flipping through it.
Then Molly saw Jon putting Aryn's bracelet on and she nudged Jon and pointed it out to him. Both of them smiled and started giggling. They thought it was cute how Jon was always doting on Aryn.
"Ok, mine's next Jon!" Molly exclaimed breaking up their moment. She didn't want things to get weird between her and Landon if they get all lovey-dovey. Molly had gotten Jon a gift card to best-buy, and Aryn had gotten a purple pajama set. Landon had been harder for her. Besides Jon she had known him the longest. In the end she settled for a T-Shirt that had said, "I'm here, now what are you're other two wishes."

Jon distributed out the gifts while glaring at Molly for ruining the moment. He didn't blame her though, he knew things would get weird for Landon and Molly if he didn't stop. Taking his own gift Jon tore up the paper and practically screamed in delight. Some people wouldn't like getting gift cards, this was not the case for Jon. He loved getting them, especially since he didn't have a job of his own. Money was hard to come by for him, so gift cards were wonderful things. They weren't to shabby if you needed a bookmark either.
Aryn was equally happy with her gift. As soon as she saw what it was she jumped up, hugged Molly and dashed away to put on the pajamas and not have to wear the ugly looking choir dress.

Landon opened his and just laughed. "Wow, Mols, Thanks. I didn't think I was that conceited," Landon said smiling at her.
Molly beamed at all her friends happy that they all liked her gifts.
"Guess that just leaves Aryn," Landon said looking over at Jon and her.

Aryn came back in, looking very much like a puppy given a treat. "Thank you very much, Molly," Aryn said as she snuggled with the pajamas. Looking around she realized it was her turn. Jon reached over and began handing out the gifts from Aryn, all of which were unusually tiny.
"It's not much but...well I figured the meaning behind them would be worth it," She mumbled. She had given each of them necklaces, with mini animal statues on them. Jon had gotten a tiger, Molly a horse, and Landon a dragonfly.

Molly got her opened first and saw the horse on the chain. "Oh, Aryn it's perfect," she said taking it out of the box and holding it up in the light. "I love it," she exclaimed.
Landon got his open next and found it to be like Molly's only a dragonfly. "Hey Aryn this is great," he said, "I don't know why you wouldn't think so." Having troubles getting his open, he smiled sheepishly at Molly who instantly took it from him and opened it without a problem.

Aryn laughed at Landon's obvious struggle. "Yeah, I saw them in this store when we went out of town and just knew I had to get them. They fit each of our personalities, heh even I got one," She told them pulling out her own pendant she had tucked away under her pajamas. It was a small dog sitting up, proud and proper; the coloring was a steel color and almost looked like it was made out of a polished rock," The store was pretty interesting too. It was kinda vintage looking and had a lot of aromas floating around. It was a really cool store.
Jon fingered his tiger gently, looking at the texture that was needed to make it so precise and perfect. It was a redish color, but not a solid red since it had an orange tinge to it. Like fire burning. "This is cool, Aryn," He said to her kindly, "I can see how they fit our personalities."

Molly sipped the blue horse pendent over her head with a smile. "It' great. It's something that ties as all together."
Looking around at everyone else put there's on, Landon slipped the white, almost translucent dragonfly over his head. "Merry Christmas guy," he said with a smile.

"Merry Christmas," Jon and Aryn said grinning. Jon carefully put his tiger on over his head and fastened his necklace so it was shorter and could pass as a choker. Aryn laid back with a content smile before the moment was broken by a dull growl coming from Aryn. Blushing furiously Aryn glanced at Jon, who was fighting the urge to not laugh at her, "Shut up! I'm hungry!" A second growl followed after that, and Aryn couldn't help her more prominent blush.

"Well we will have to fix that," Molly said with a laugh. She got up from her chair and gathered up her doll from Landon, the only gift she wasn't wearing and went to the kitchen. "Jon!" She called from the other room, "Grab a trash bag and start picking up in there while I get this pizza cooking."
Landon watched Molly walk out and then glanced to Jon and Aryn. "Well," he said pulling himself up out of the recliner. "I'm going to go help Molly." He walked into the kitchen glancing at the other two before he turned the corner out of site.
"Hey Mols," he said giving her a smile.
Molly smiled back at him before saying, "We can't leave those two alone for long. No telling what they will get up to."

Jon groaned in annoyance, cleaning up was never his idea of fun. Slowly he grabbed a nearby trashbag and began to pick up pieces of paper strewn everywhere. As he was picking the little papers up he couldn't help his glance at Aryn, she looked so peaceful lying there under the tree. The way the Christmas lights shone on her made her eyes sparkle and her true innocence show. Then her hazel eyes turned to him, giving him one of her confused looks.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked in confused wonder. Her head cocked to the side a bit, like a dog would in wonder.
"UH," Jon blinked and thought fast, " 'Cause you just look so peaceful, that I knew I had to do this!" With grin he pounced on her and began to tickle her. As she laughed hysterically, he grabbed a fist of wrapping paper and bows, and began to stick them all over her.

Molly had successfully gotten the pizza in the oven before the noise erupted in the other room. "Oh great...." Molly said shaking her head. Sometimes she wished Jon would grow up.
"Hey Mols, It's going to be ok," Landon said patting her on the back. "He's just a kid. You and I both know he likes Aryn, It's hard for him to be around her and not act silly."
"I know..." Molly said hanging her head. "I just wish he would do a little quieter." With that she pulled away from Landon and walked back into the living room. She cringed when she saw it. "Jon, I asked you to clean up... not make it worse."
